Disadvantages of changing frequency of ordinary power frequency air compressor
At present, the mainstream of the air compressor market is energy-saving and power-saving. many companies choose air compressors
The focus is on how much money can be saved, gradually eliminating the high-energy-consuming air compressors in the factory and replacing them with energy-saving air compressors. The permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor has developed rapidly and has become the hottest product in the air compressor market. Some users may ask, the permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor mainly saves energy through variable frequency speed regulation, so is it possible to install a frequency converter on the industrial frequency machine? What is the effect of installing frequency converters on ordinary industrial frequency screw machines?
1. Ordinary power frequency screw air compressor, if the frequency converter is installed, the frequency adjustment range is only 25~50Hz, which basically cannot achieve the effect of energy saving and power saving, and can only achieve the soft-start startup function. On the contrary, in actual use, the motor is often burnt due to the reduction of the motor speed.
2. The fuel injection volume set by the main engine of the ordinary screw compressor is constant throughout, and the fuel injection volume will not be automatically reduced due to the decrease of the screw speed and the temperature drop. Continuing to spray the full amount of oil will cause serious emulsification, resulting in water in the system, causing great damage to the bearing and the main engine, and greatly shortening the service life of the components and the whole machine.
3. Industrial frequency machines usually use PID closed-loop process control system. The additional inverter control system cannot achieve a good synchronization match with the pressure signal sensor of the machine, which will cause signal transmission to be slow and slow during operation. Disorders and random frequencies occur, which increase the failure rate of equipment.
4.The installation of frequency converter is generally only suitable for single stage screw air compressors, not for two stage air compressors. Because the two-stage compression is driven by a small-power motor, the two main engines are driven by large and small gears to overload operation. After the frequency conversion transformation, the motor phenomenon is more likely to occur, and the transmission efficiency will also be greatly reduced.
In fact, there is a difference between the permanent magnet variable frequency screw compressor and the ordinary screw air compressor with a frequency converter, and it is not a problem that can be solved by a single frequency converter. Ordinary air compressors cannot achieve the expected effect after installing frequency converters. It is not recommended to change the frequency of ordinary air compressors.
