Therefore, in order to reduce the life cycle cost of the rotary screw air compressor, without reducing the performance and quality of the equipment, improving the maintenance and management level of the air compressor is the top priority of all work, because energy consumption can also be reduced through maintenance and management. As long as we invest less cost and shorter energy in peacetime and strictly follow the maintenance plan, many foreseeable benefits will be generated:


Longer operation time - through regular maintenance and preventive maintenance, the planned downtime can be minimized, and the possibility of unplanned downtime can be minimized;


Longer service life - proper maintenance of the screw type air compressor can prolong the service life of the equipment and achieve the purpose of "spending small money and making big money";


Higher energy efficiency - the air compression system in good condition is more energy-saving than the air compression system in operation with faults. For example, the leakage of compressed air system is the most common form of energy waste in factories. The average leakage of compressed air accounts for 30% of the total amount of compressed air


Nearly 50% of factories have not taken any anti-blocking measures for leakage in the air compression system;


Personal and property safety - through regular maintenance, the air compressor system is always in normal working condition, which can reduce carbon deposition, heat accumulation and vibration, and reduce the risk of equipment explosion.


The maintenance work of air cooling screw air compressor has many sub-projects, but it can be divided into three categories: filtration, lubrication and leak detection, in order to maintain the stability of the system and application conditions.


Efficient filtration to remove dirt

In addition to some severe haze weather or very bad environment, the atmosphere generally looks clean, but when the air is compressed, the small pollutants in the ambient air will become a problem that must be paid attention to. Water vapor, particles, cotton wool and other impurities are squeezed into a mass, which may attach to the air compressor system, block the pipeline, cause valve failure, and cause abnormal wear of air compressor components.


If these pollutants are not controlled, the current of the air compressor will increase, the energy consumption will increase, the efficiency of the air compressor will be reduced, and the parts will have to be replaced early. Therefore, these pollutants must be removed before and during use. Intake filter element - intake filter is the first line of defense of air compressor. The air inlet filter captures most of the pollutants when the compressor absorbs the external air and forces it to spiral down through the air inlet assembly, and the filtered clean air enters the main engine for compression. When the filter is used for a long time, a large amount of dust and particulate impurities, as well as oil dirt, will be attached to the filter element, making its ability to retain dirt worse and worse, and will gradually lose its filtering effect.
