The air inlet valve has the functions of air inlet control, loading and unloading control, capacity adjustment control, unloading, and preventing oil injection during unloading or shutdown. Its operation rules can be summarized as follows: loading when powered on, unloading when powered off. The compressor inlet valve generally has two mechanisms: rotating disc and reciprocating valve plate. The main reasons for the fuel injection of the inlet valve are: poor oil-gas separator; The return check valve is blocked; The filtering effect of air filter is not good, and the sealing surface of inlet valve core is stuck with impurities, resulting in poor sealing; The working environment of the compressor is bad, and the mating pair of the intake valve piston and spring seat is worn.
The oil injection of the inlet valve usually occurs when the compressor stops suddenly, and the inlet check valve cannot be closed in time, and the compressor inlet is sprayed with lubricating oil. In case of this phenomenon, first remove the sprayed lubricating oil and adjust the discharge amount to zero, then conduct the test to observe whether the inlet valve still injects oil;
1. Intake valve injection
If fuel injection is found, it can be determined that the intake valve itself has leakage; This kind of leakage is generally divided into two situations: 1. The sealing surface of valve core and valve seat leaks, and the solution is to repair or replace the valve core; 2. Diaphragm Leakage,the solution is to replace the valve core;
2. The intake valve is no longer injected
If the air inlet valve no longer has oil injection, the following tests need to be carried out: first disassemble the check valve, remove the impurities, and then assemble it back for testing. If the fault is eliminated, it indicates that the check valve is stuck and does not return. If the fault still exists, it is necessary to install a ball valve between the oil drum and the air inlet valve, or plug it, and then conduct the test. If it is observed that the air compressor stops, the lubricating oil will immediately spray outward, And the amount of fuel injection is increasing, which indicates that the reason for this phenomenon is that the internal leakage of the screw host is large. During the loading process, the oil in the host is splashed upward. With the increase of pressure, the amount of fuel injection increases, which causes the oil to spray outward; This phenomenon generally occurs in high-pressure and low-frequency air compressors. The solution is to add an oil baffle between the intake valve seat and the main engine. If there is no oil gushing at the inlet of the inlet valve when the air compressor is shut down, it means that there is no problem with the inlet valve itself. It is the failure of the oil subsystem. Solution: connect the pipeline between the oil barrel and the inlet valve and lower the oil level. After the startup test, if the oil injection phenomenon does not exist or the oil injection quantity is significantly reduced, it indicates that the oil level design of the oil barrel is unreasonable. This is because the air compressor will generate a pressure difference in the oil barrel under the emergency stop state, which will generate a large number of bubbles. The bubbles can normally pass through the oil and gas separation core, and then enter the inlet valve through the pipeline between the oil barrel and the inlet valve, Thus, the lubricating oil is sprayed from the inlet valve to the outside. If this is the case, the oil will not be injected immediately after the machine is shut down and the oil injection is often accompanied by a grunt. The solution is to control the oil filling volume of the air compressor or replace the oil barrel and related pipelines; If the injection phenomenon does not change, check and replace the oil.
